I think It was set to UTF-8. I will be resetting everything in the database soon.

However, your issue has nothing to do with this tutorial because it only explain how you can use your theme to display both Urdu and English posts in proper manner.

I even have urdu openpad plugin installed and despite the fact that when I write a new post, its in urdu, when I publish it, only ????s appear.

Can you guide me why is this happening?
